PVC Wall Panel Extrusion Line
Product Overview
The PVC Wall Panel Extrusion Line is a complete production system designed for manufacturing decorative PVC wall panels used in interior decoration. These panels have become increasingly popular as a cost-effective alternative to traditional wall coverings, offering moisture resistance, easy installation, and a wide range of surface finishes including wood grain, marble, and solid colors.
Our production line integrates a conical twin-screw extruder (SJSZ-65/132 or SJSZ-80/156) with a precision profile die, vacuum calibration table, haul-off unit, and automatic cutting system. The line supports panel widths from 300mm to 600mm with thicknesses ranging from 8mm to 12mm, making it suitable for both residential and commercial wall decoration applications.
A key feature of this line is the online lamination station, which allows decorative films or heat transfer printing to be applied directly during extrusion — eliminating the need for a separate surface finishing step. This integrated approach reduces production costs, improves adhesion quality, and increases overall throughput by 20-30% compared to offline lamination processes.
The line is engineered for continuous 24/7 operation with robust cooling systems, precision temperature control zones, and automatic thickness monitoring. With production speeds of 4-8 m/min, a single line can produce 2,000-5,000 square meters of wall panels per day, depending on panel dimensions and formulation.
Key Features
Conical twin-screw extruder (65/132 or 80/156)
Online lamination station for film/heat transfer
Vacuum calibration with 4-6 cooling zones
Automatic cutter with precise length control
Stacker with counting system
Production Process
From raw material to finished product — each step is engineered for quality and efficiency.
Raw Material Preparation
PVC resin, calcium carbonate, stabilizers, lubricants, and pigments are weighed and mixed in a high-speed hot/cold mixer. The compound is then cooled and stored in a holding silo before feeding.
Extrusion & Melting
The mixed powder enters the conical twin-screw extruder, where it is melted, plasticized, and homogenized at 160-190°C. The screw design ensures thorough mixing and degassing.
Die Forming & Calibration
The molten PVC exits through a precision profile die, entering a vacuum calibrator that shapes the panel to exact dimensions. Multi-zone cooling ensures dimensional stability.
Online Lamination
Decorative film or heat transfer foil is applied to the panel surface using heated rollers. The lamination temperature (140-180°C) ensures permanent adhesion without additional glue.
Haul-off & Cutting
A caterpillar haul-off unit pulls the panel at controlled speed through the cooling section. An automatic fly-cut saw cuts panels to specified lengths (typically 2.6m, 2.8m, or 3m).
Stacking & Packaging
Cut panels are automatically stacked, counted, and packaged with protective film wrapping for shipment.

Why Choose Wings Plastic
Integrated Lamination
Online lamination eliminates a separate surface finishing process, reducing labor costs and improving adhesion quality by bonding film directly to the hot extrudate.
Precision Die Design
Custom-designed profile dies using flow simulation software ensure uniform wall thickness and minimize material waste during production startups.
Energy-Efficient Cooling
Multi-zone vacuum calibration with optimized water flow reduces cooling time by 15% while maintaining dimensional accuracy across the full panel width.
Quick Changeover System
Die and calibrator can be changed in under 2 hours, allowing manufacturers to switch between different panel profiles and widths with minimal downtime.
PLC Control System
Siemens/ Mitsubishi PLC with touch-screen HMI provides real-time monitoring of all parameters — temperature, speed, pressure — with recipe storage for repeatable production.
Quality Assurance
Every production line undergoes rigorous quality verification before delivery:
- Online thickness measurement with laser gauge ensures panel thickness tolerance within ±0.1mm
- Surface quality inspection station detects scratches, bubbles, and lamination defects
- Dimensional verification of panel width, thickness, and straightness per batch
- Material formulation tested for UV stability and color fastness before production runs
Typical Applications
Frequently Asked Questions
A standard SJSZ-80/156 line produces 250-400 kg/h of PVC wall panels, translating to approximately 3,000-5,000 m² per day depending on panel width, thickness, and formulation.
Yes, the line supports panel widths from 300mm to 600mm. Changing widths requires swapping the die and calibrator, which takes approximately 1.5-2 hours including warm-up and calibration adjustment.
The line supports online heat transfer printing, film lamination, and embossing. Common finishes include wood grain, marble, metallic, and solid colors. Custom designs can be applied using heat transfer foils.
Routine maintenance includes screw and barrel inspection every 3 months, die cleaning every 2 weeks, vacuum pump service monthly, and full line inspection annually. We provide detailed maintenance manuals and spare parts lists.
