WPC Cladding Machine
Product Overview
The WPC Cladding Machine produces exterior wall cladding profiles that combine the natural appearance of wood with the weather resistance and low maintenance of plastics. These profiles transform building facades with warm wood aesthetics while eliminating the painting, staining, and rotting issues of natural wood siding.
The line uses a parallel twin-screw extruder (SJZ-80/156) for PE/PP-based WPC formulations with 40-60% wood flour content. The cladding profile die creates interlocking panels with hidden fastening features, while the online embossing system applies deep wood grain texture for realistic appearance and anti-slip surface.
Exterior WPC cladding must withstand years of UV exposure, rain, temperature cycling, and biological attack. Our formulation guidance includes comprehensive UV stabilizer packages (UV absorbers + HALS), anti-fungal agents (zinc borate), and coupling agents that ensure 10-15 year service life with minimal color fading.
The interlocking profile design enables hidden fastener installation — no visible screws or nails on the finished facade. This creates a clean, premium appearance while simplifying and speeding up installation compared to individual board siding.

Production Process
From raw material to finished product — each step is engineered for quality and efficiency.
Weather-Resistant Compound
PE/PP pellets, dried wood flour (40-60%), coupling agent, UV stabilizer package (absorber + HALS), anti-fungal (zinc borate), and pigments are mixed in a high-speed mixer.
Parallel Twin-Screw Extrusion
The compound is processed at 180-200°C in the parallel twin-screw extruder. The screw design provides intensive mixing for uniform UV stabilizer distribution.
Interlocking Profile Die
The molten WPC flows through a profile die creating the cladding cross-section with interlocking edges and hidden fastener channels for clean installation.
Calibration & Cooling
Vacuum calibration ensures precise interlocking dimensions. Adequate cooling is critical — exterior cladding must maintain tight tolerances for weather-tight installation.
Embossing & UV Treatment
Deep wood grain texture is embossed into the surface. Optional UV coating provides additional fade resistance for high-UV environments.
Cutting & Packaging
Cladding panels are cut to standard lengths and packaged with protective wrapping and installation accessories.

Why Choose Wings Plastic
Hidden Fastener System
Interlocking profile with integrated fastener channels enables clean, screw-free facade appearance — a premium aesthetic that commands higher market pricing than visible-fastener siding.
10-15 Year UV Protection
Comprehensive UV stabilizer package (absorber + HALS) and optional UV coating ensure color retention for 10-15 years in moderate climates, 7-10 years in tropical environments.
Anti-Fungal Formulation
Zinc borate anti-fungal additive prevents mold, mildew, and algae growth — critical for exterior cladding exposed to rain and humidity in most climates.
Weather-Resistant Design
Interlocking edges create a rain-screen effect, directing water down the facade while allowing ventilation behind the cladding — preventing moisture buildup and extending service life.
Deep Wood Grain Texture
Heated embossing creates deep, realistic wood grain texture that provides both visual appeal and tactile experience — distinguishing WPC cladding from flat plastic siding.
Quality Assurance
Every production line undergoes rigorous quality verification before delivery:
- UV accelerated weathering (QUV 2000h) to verify color retention
- Interlocking edge dimensions verified for proper panel-to-panel fit
- Water absorption tested (24h immersion, target <3%)
- Flexural strength tested per ASTM D790 for wind load resistance
Typical Applications
Frequently Asked Questions
With proper UV stabilizers, WPC cladding lasts 10-15 years in moderate climates and 7-10 years in tropical/high-UV environments. The main degradation is surface fading; structural integrity typically lasts 20+ years.
Minimal maintenance — annual cleaning with mild soap and water. No painting, staining, or sealing required. In high-pollution areas, pressure washing every 2-3 years may be needed to restore appearance.
Yes, WPC cladding can be installed over existing facades using a furring strip system. This creates a rain-screen cavity that improves wall breathability and insulation. Ensure the wall structure can support the additional weight (3-5 kg/m²).
Standard colors: cedar, redwood, grey, brown, and black. Custom colors are available with minimum order quantities. Lighter colors are recommended for high-UV climates as they fade less visibly.
