WPC Flooring Machine
Product Overview
The WPC Flooring Machine produces wood-plastic composite floor planks for indoor residential and commercial applications. Unlike outdoor WPC decking (PE/PP-based), indoor WPC flooring uses PVC-based composites with 30-40% wood flour, providing a waterproof, dimensionally stable flooring product with wood-like appearance.
The line features an SJSZ-80/156 conical twin-screw extruder, flooring plank profile die, click-lock profiling system, and online UV coating and embossing stations. It produces planks 120-200mm wide and 4-8mm thick with click-lock edges for floating installation — similar to SPC/LVT but with visible wood fiber content.
WPC indoor flooring occupies a unique market position — offering better dimensional stability than LVT (due to the wood fiber reinforcement) and warmer underfoot feel than SPC (due to lower density). The wood fibers also provide a subtle natural texture that enhances the wood-look appearance.
The click-lock profiling system is compatible with international flooring installation systems (UNILIN, VALINGE), enabling floating installation without adhesive. Online UV coating provides scratch resistance, while synchronized embossing creates wood grain texture matching the decorative pattern.
Key Features
Conical twin-screw extruder
Flooring plank profile die
Click-lock profiling system
Online UV coating
Embossing for wood texture
Production Process
From raw material to finished product — each step is engineered for quality and efficiency.
WPC Compound Mixing
PVC resin, dried wood flour (30-40%), coupling agents, stabilizers, and pigments are mixed. The formulation balances wood content for appearance with PVC for water resistance.
Extrusion & Profiling
The compound is extruded through a plank profile die at 155-175°C. The die creates the plank cross-section including any internal features for click-lock installation.
Calibration & Cooling
Vacuum calibration ensures precise plank dimensions — critical for click-lock installation. Multi-zone cooling prevents warping in the thin profile.
UV Coating & Embossing
UV-curable coating is applied for scratch resistance. A synchronized embossing roll creates wood grain texture matching the plank decorative pattern.
Click-Lock Profiling
Precision milling creates click-lock edges compatible with UNILIN or VALINGE installation systems, enabling floating installation without adhesive.
Cutting & Packaging
Planks are cut to standard lengths (914mm, 1220mm) and packaged in cartons with installation instructions and accessories.

Why Choose Wings Plastic
Wood Fiber Warmth
Wood flour content provides warmer underfoot feel and more natural wood appearance than SPC or LVT — a key selling point for residential flooring.
Click-Lock Installation
Compatible with UNILIN and VALINGE click-lock systems for floating installation — no adhesive needed, reducing installation time by 60% compared to glue-down LVT.
Dimensional Stability
Wood fibers in the PVC matrix provide reinforcement that reduces thermal expansion — WPC flooring is more dimensionally stable than LVT in temperature-varying environments.
Synchronized Embossing
Wood grain texture is electronically synchronized with the decorative pattern, creating realistic tactile and visual wood appearance.
Waterproof Properties
PVC matrix encapsulates wood fibers, making the plank waterproof — suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements where wood flooring cannot be used.
Quality Assurance
Every production line undergoes rigorous quality verification before delivery:
- Click-lock edge dimensions verified with precision gauges for installation compatibility
- Plank thickness and width verified at multiple points (±0.05mm tolerance)
- Surface scratch resistance tested per EN 13329 (taber abrasion test)
- Dimensional stability tested under temperature cycling (20-40°C)

Frequently Asked Questions
Indoor WPC flooring uses PVC matrix (155-175°C processing), 30-40% wood content, click-lock edges, and UV coating. Outdoor decking uses PE/PP matrix (180-200°C), 50-60% wood content, UV stabilizers, and is thicker (20-30mm vs 4-8mm).
Yes, WPC flooring is waterproof and suitable for bathrooms. The click-lock floating installation allows easy replacement if needed. Ensure proper subfloor moisture barrier for below-grade installations.
We support UNILIN (most common in Europe), VALINGE (most common in North America), and custom click-lock profiles. The profiling system is changed based on target market requirements.
WPC has warmer feel (wood fibers), more natural appearance, and better sound absorption. SPC is more rigid, more dent-resistant, and less expensive. WPC targets premium residential; SPC targets value-conscious residential and commercial.
