WPC Wall Panel Machine
Product Overview
The WPC Wall Panel Machine produces interior decorative wall panels that combine wood-plastic composite material with PVC-based formulations. These panels offer the warm appearance of wood with superior moisture resistance, making them ideal for feature walls, living rooms, and hospitality interiors.
The line uses an SJSZ-80/156 conical twin-screw extruder with a decorative panel die, vacuum calibration system, and online hot stamping or lamination station. It produces panels 150-400mm wide and 8-15mm thick with 30-50% wood powder content, available in a wide range of wood grain and solid color finishes.
WPC wall panels are lighter than solid wood paneling and can be installed directly over existing walls using adhesive or mechanical fasteners — no framing or substructure required. The tongue-and-groove edges ensure seamless joints, while the PVC matrix provides paintability for custom color matching.
The online decoration system supports both hot stamping (for wood grain patterns) and film lamination (for high-resolution designs including stone, metal, and abstract patterns). Quick-change decoration systems enable manufacturers to offer dozens of finishes from a single production line.
Key Features
Conical twin-screw extruder
Decorative panel die design
Online hot stamping / lamination
Vacuum calibration system
Automatic cutting
Production Process
From raw material to finished product — each step is engineered for quality and efficiency.
Compound Preparation
PVC resin, dried wood flour (30-50%), coupling agents, stabilizers, and pigments are mixed in a high-speed hot/cold mixer. Wood flour moisture must be below 2%.
Extrusion & Plasticizing
The WPC compound is processed at 155-175°C in the conical twin-screw extruder. PVC-based WPC uses lower temperatures than PE/PP-based to prevent wood degradation.
Panel Die Forming
The molten WPC flows through a decorative panel die creating the tongue-and-groove profile with any decorative grooves or patterns.
Calibration & Cooling
Vacuum calibration ensures precise tongue-and-groove dimensions for seamless installation. Multi-zone cooling prevents warping in the wide, thin profile.
Hot Stamping / Lamination
Wood grain patterns are applied via hot stamping, or decorative films are laminated for high-resolution designs including stone and metal effects.
Cutting & Packaging
Panels are cut to standard lengths (2.4m, 2.8m, 3m) and packaged with protective film wrapping to prevent surface damage.

Why Choose Wings Plastic
Wood Appearance, PVC Performance
PVC-based WPC panels offer the visual warmth of wood with PVC moisture resistance, fire retardancy, and paintability — ideal for interior applications.
Quick-Change Decoration
Hot stamping foil or laminating film can be changed in 10-15 minutes, enabling manufacturers to offer dozens of wood grain and decorative patterns from one line.
Seamless Installation
Precision tongue-and-groove edges with ±0.1mm tolerance create invisible joints, giving wall installations a continuous, premium appearance.
Lightweight & Direct Install
Panels are light enough for direct adhesive installation over existing walls — no substructure required, reducing installation time and cost by 50%.
Paintable Surface
Unlike PE/PP-based WPC, PVC-based WPC panels can be painted with standard acrylic or polyurethane paints for custom color matching.
Quality Assurance
Every production line undergoes rigorous quality verification before delivery:
- Tongue-and-groove dimensions verified for seamless panel-to-panel fit
- Surface pattern adhesion tested using cross-hatch tape method
- Panel flatness checked with straightedge across full width and length
- Color consistency verified against master samples using spectrophotometer
Typical Applications
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, PVC-based WPC panels are waterproof and suitable for bathroom walls. However, for wet areas, ensure proper sealing at panel joints and use moisture-resistant adhesive for installation.
WPC panels are lighter, waterproof, termite-proof, require no painting, and cost 30-50% less than solid wood paneling. They provide similar visual appearance but lack the natural grain texture depth of real wood.
Common widths: 150mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm. The 200mm and 300mm widths are most popular for residential feature walls. Narrower panels (150mm) are used for ceiling applications.
Yes, WPC wall panels can be cut with standard woodworking saws (circular saw, jigsaw, hand saw). Carbide-tipped blades provide the cleanest cuts. No special tools are required.
